Lots of content here, have a look

Check back often for news, education, information as well as tips and tricks on how to get your message out there where it counts. Why send emails back and forth to a few hundred people, when we can collectively pool our lists of business associates and tell the world your story. Got a special event your College or School is putting on? Great. Need to put the word out about a fundraiser your having to help keep you in business? Perfect. Do you have a need to tell other people what your school is all about, and how proud you are of the staff? We would be honored to be a part of that. Just give us your information and we can put it up on our blog.

It doesn't have to be anything earth shattering, or even ground breaking for that matter, what we're interested in is real stories from real owners and instructors like you.

I found an incredible 'secret video' that Yvette and I were working on before her death. This was her dream, and I so desperately wanted it to create it for her. This one's for all of her students who want to see Yvette teach just one more time. See you next show. Rick

Yvette's Eulogy was delicate, compassionate and deliberate. Kind of strange words, right? Do they even belong together? It's almost a paradox of concepts, isn't it. It's complex, with just a hint of fascination. Well, that was Yvette. The place was packed. People were standing in the back of the room, hanging on every word that the guests were presenting. The stories were spoken with reverance. The mood was certainly respectful, and the attitude was indeed thoughtful. There were lessons learned, tears were shed as members of the family sang their thanks for the incredible memories that have been embedded on their hearts forever.

And again, the question still tugs at our souls. Why. Why was Yvette taken away from us when she still had so much to give. Why did such a legacy that shone so bright dissapear when we were just beginning to tell her story. It's not fair, nor easy to understand, but it did happen, and its up to us to ensure that the loving memories still have meaning years from now.

Join me, and lets turn the 'join me' into 'join us'. Then, lets turn the 'join us' into something special that can reflect a reality that is really beautiful and lasting. Yvette has touched so many different people on her path that it would be non-sensical to say goodbye and not create a new beginning. I am reminded of a short poem that has always influenced me and really reflects the quality of Yvette's personality. Here it is.

'Forgiveness is the scent a violet sheds on the foot that crushed it'.

Yvette suits that poem very much. We will be posting video's from the Eulogy on Sunday, April 1st on this blog, and we hope that for all the people that could not make it personally, this will give you a basic understanding of what went on. It was beautiful, and again I want to extand an invitation for all the people who knew Yvette to send in their own personal stories or adventures with Yvette. At the Eulogy I was approached by many people who had already visited this blog and were very thankful that we have decided to turn this blog into a memorial for her. This is 'your blog' just as much as it is Yvette's because we all know that's the way she would design it.

We all can pretty well guess that Yvette would gather us all in a large room and say 'hey, just because I'm gone, doesn't mean that you guys are off the hook. There's a perfectly good blog here, so don't let me slow you down. Jump in, take over and enjoy yourself'.

So, it looks like we all have some work to do. I promise that I will do whatever I can to ensure the content of the blog is something everyone wants to see, view, explore and chuckle at. Your job is to spread the word about the blog and invite all of the folks that are interested in Yvette's way of life. Together, we can share a laugh, educate some, ruffle some feathers of others (hey, this is Yvette's blog, after all) and passify the rest. If I have time from my other video podcast shows, I will try to do something a little creative called 'Yvette's Corner', something that Yvette and I were working on just before she passed on. So, it was a long day behind the video camera, and we got some great vids of folks who wanted to say goodbye on a more personal note, and we will be posting them as well, I'm heading for bed, we will 'blog' at you later. Rick and Pat.

It is with a terrible sense of loss that we realize that one of the best, most interesting, dynamic and loving people have walked through our lives, and we didn't get the chance to spend enough time with them. Yvette Eastman passed away on Saturday, March 24th, 2012. We will be using this blog space as a memorial blog for Yvette. If any of the visitors or viewers to this site want to forward their comments, or incredible adventures with Yvette, please let me know by emailing me at:

eflexonics@gmail.com           and I will post your comments on this blog for you. Thank you, Rick Haaland.

Stress and Belief Systems

Technology is here to help us plan our days, do our banking, connect with others over social media and a whole host of other stuff that can allow us to completely talk to the world. So, why is it that we stay in safe little clustered groups and tightly controlled forums when there is business out there that is ripe for the picking. I propose that we use whatever tools we have at our disposal to make this world wide web thingy work to our advantage.

Did you know that cell phone technology is so good, you can literally run your entire business from a well equipped Smartphone. And did you also know that you can create your own QR codes within about 30 seconds and embed it onto your own website or blog, thus creating your own Android application for zero dollars?

At yvette eastman, we intend to help you grow your business. This formula has several and distinct advantages. If we collect information about you, your concept, your passion and your story we can share it with others, and everyone loves a great story. If you are a practitioner of holistic health, we can show you how to market yourself not only to retain your clients, but get new ones too. If, on the other hand you own a School, we've got some incredible tools for you that will put a smile on your face, and some profits in your pocket.

We're excited about the prospects of working with you, and hope you have a sincere desire to see what we can do for you. Below is an example of a video format we can use to market your business or College. Enjoy.
